Exchange Club of Waycross Hears Role Of Georgia Bureau of Investigation

In a presentation to the Exchange Club of Waycross, Special Agent In Charge of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations’s Regional Office in Douglas, Georgia, Mark Proveaux explained the many facits of the organization that provides assistance to local police likes of criminal investigations, forensic laboratory services and computerized criminal justice information. The agent outlined how prevalent identity theft is and how easy it is for some criminals to prey on innocent citizens.The Exchangites were also briefed on the bureau’s anti terrorism, organized crime, and forensic investigation activities.  Pictured are President Roger Collins and Carl James stand with Seth Hullander, Mark Proveaux and Cyrus Purdiman of the GBI.
