· Reading Time: 1 minute

The Exchange Club of Rome has selected Kaylee Mansell of Pepperell High School as their local winner of the All American Speech Contest.  Georgia is one of a handful of Exchange Club Districts in the United States that has added a Youth recognition award to its program and this is designed to encourage students to develop a five to eight minute speech centered on the patriotic theme of their choice.  The program is also designed to help the young people develop their skills to appear before people and in public speaking.  As the winner of the Rome competition, Kaylee will compete in Columbus, GA in June in the Georgia District competition where a $1500 scholarship will be awarded to the winner.
