The Exchange Club of Rome selected Rome High School Senior Morgan Padgett as the local winner of the Patriotic Speech Contest.  Morgan’s speech centered around the phrase from the inaugural speech of President John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”  As the Rome winner, Morgan will compete in the Georgia District Patriotic Speech Competition at the Georgia District Exchange Convention in Valdosta, GA the first of June.
