It was a huge Programs of Service meeting recently at the Exchange Club of Richmond Hill.  First, the club presented a contribution to the Matthew Freeman Project names for one of their own,  Capt. Matthew Freeman, USMC, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on August 7, 2009. Matt was a co-recipient of the Richmond Hill Exchange Club Student of the Year in 1998. The Matthew Freeman Project is dedicated to support peace and among the programs supported are scholarships to siblings of fallen military members and also provide bears to those who are mourning the loss of someone special.  Students of the month for November and December were recognized and presented a $100 award each, and the club also donated to Wreaths For Wreaths For Warriors Walk.  Their mission is to place a Christmas wreath at the tree of each and every fallen soldier along the Fort Stewart Warriors Walk in a solemn memorial service.
