At a recent meeting of the Exchange Club of Richmond Hill, the club was proud to a make a donation of fourteen “Time-Out Teddies” to the Bryan County CASA Organization. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) works to provide every abused and neglected child with a CASA volunteer. CASA volunteers act as a “voice in court” for abused and neglected children. These CASA volunteers help to provide judges with the detailed information they need to safeguard the children’s best interests and ensure that they are placed in safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible.

The Exchange Club of Richmond Hill is proud to assist Bryan County CASA in this small way to help them deliver much-needed service to the deserving children of our county. On hand to make the presentation were Janet Thayer (left), Club President, and Chet Gregg (right), Club Vice President. Accepting the Teddies was Christy Balbo (center), local attorney, CASA volunteer, and child-advocate.
