The Exchange Club of Albany has honored seven local law enforcement officers of the year in their area, and created a new Lifetime Achievement award. Selected as the first Lifetime Achievement Award Winner was Charles Moore. He has 38 years in Law Enforcement and is currently the Leesburg Police Chief. He is currently battling Cancer for the third time but is at work every day. He has also spearheaded the a Christmas toy drive for foster children in Leesburg for the last 17 years. When he accepted the Honor he immediately gave all the success to the excellent officers and staff he has worked with your years. It was exactly the type of response you would expect from this very hard working and dedicated individual.
