The Exchange Club of Rome’s National award winning project, A CALL TO HONOR: The Tomb Of The Unknown Replica, continues to travel on display across Georgia and the Southeast.  The 1/2 scale replica of the famous Arlington memorial recently made a stop in Macon in sponsored by the Exchange Club of Macon.  A great honor for the Tomb project was a visit from two of the actual “Tomb Walkers”, the elite group of military whose job it is to walk guard on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Each is given a special badge to recognize their place in history. Pictured on the right is Herb Smith, badge #70, and Scott Sengenberger, badge #491.
