The Exchange Club of Dublin was pleased to have Sandy Cox with Stepping Stone to speak at their meeting. Stepping Stone is a child advocacy center that covers a ten-county area and provides assistance to children that are victims of abuse. This year they have completed almost 50 medical exams and almost 200 forensic interviews in an effort to bring abusers to justice. Their executive director, Brooke Woods, has testified in numerous cases which has led to convictions of the abusers. The center also provides group therapy sessions and assistance to those in foster care.
