The Exchange Club of Rome presented their STAR Student and STAR Teacher program recently. Jeanne Krueger, Interim Director of the Rome Floyd Chamber presented the winners of the STAR student from each of the high schools in Rome and Floyd County. The overall winners, one from the County Schools, and one from the schools within Rome were also named. Darlington’s Arnold Miao and Armuchee High’s Kayla Hutcherson will move on to represent Rome and Floyd County in the Georgia District Student Teacher Achievement Recognition honors program.
