The Exchange Club of Rome‘s Americanism Committee has taken the lead as the coordinating force for an expanded weekend Memorial Day Observance in Rome and Floyd County. The club is the lead sponsor of a group that includes local Veterans’ organizations for a multi-day observance that will include a variety of military memorabilia exhibits and culminate with special program on Memorial Day that will include music and special speakers. All activities for the observance will be held at the club’s Coosa Valley Fairgrounds in Rome.
