The Exchange Club of Tifton recently handed out grant funds to the agencies and organizations in Tift County that are on the front lines of treating and preventing child abuse in some way. These funds were raised through the annual Bids for Kids Televised Auction held in February. Over $13,000 was handed out.
Organizations receiving grant funds include: Called to Care, Coastal Plain CASA, Everette Temple, First Presbyterian Church, Kids Advocacy Coalition, Northside Baptist Church, Patticake House, Peanut Butter & Jesus, South Georgia Ministries, The Salvation Army, Tift County Commission on Children & Youth, Tift County Needy Children’s Fund and Urban Elevation.
