The Exchange Club of Rome and it’s Exchange Club Family Resource Center brought together all the child protective services agencies in Rome and Floyd County to kick off April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. 127 Blue pinwheels were placed in the ground to symbolize the number of documented reported cases of child abuse in Floyd County in 2017 in hopes citizens driving by would see and be aware that child abuse prevention should be on everyone’s mind.
