The Exchange Club of Dublin has made donations to local charities and provided scholarships to local individuals. Donations were made to: Community Read Program – Mrs. Rhonda Walker – $1,000 – This organization sets up book boxes throughout the community to provide books for children to read. American Legion Post – Mr. Kevin Drury – $1,000 – One of the oldest organizations in America that supports “Veterans helping Veterans”. Their post located on Moore Station Road is in need of some essential repairs. Mustard Seed Journey – Mrs. Robin Flanders – $2,000 – This organization operates a women’s transitional center that ministers to abused women and helps them transition back to self-sufficiency. Uniting Hope for Children – Mr. Jay Baily – $2,000 – This organization seeks to recruit churches and families to care for foster children so that they can remain in Laurens County.
