The Exchange club of Brunswick held their annual police officer of the year luncheon to honor our local police officers. The Exchange club honored 11 different departments, The Glynn County Police dept., Glynn county school police dept., Brunswick police dept., College of Coastal Georgia police dept., Georgia state patrol post 23 Brunswick, Georgia state patrol post 35 Jekyll Island, Glynn/Brunswick 911 center, Glynn county sheriff’s deputy, Glynn county sheriff’s detention officer, Georgia department of community supervision, and United states probation office. Each officer was presented with a plaque thanking them for their dedication and service to our community.
