The Exchange Club of Tifton recently presented 15 community agencies with grants from funds raised at their annual Bids for Kids Televised Auction. The Bids for Kids grant funds go to agencies and organizations in the Tiftarea that are on the front lines of treating and preventing child abuse. Those receiving grants include: Patticake House/Ruth’s Cottage, Kids Advocacy Coalition, Northside Baptist Church’s Winshape Camp, Tift County Commission on Children & Youth, Everette Temple After School Program, South Georgia Ministries, Mims Kids, The Salvation Army, First Presbyterian Church’s Angel Tree Program, PLIGHT, Called to Care, Coastal Plain CASA, Tiftarea House of Hope, Tift County Needy Children’s Fund and Tift County DFACS. Over $18,000 was given back to the community by the Exchange Club of Tifton.
