Exchange Club Of Richmond Hill Participates In Child Abuse Prevention Month Ceremony

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.  The Exchange Club of Richmond Hill, celebrating 34 years of service to Bryan County, hosted it’s annual “Believe in the Blue” Child Abuse and Child Neglect Awareness project at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 11 adjacent to the Montessori Pre-School. They had as our speakers at their regular meeting, Christy Balbo, Bryan County Juvenile Court Judge, and Wendy Sims, Director of the Bryan County Family Connection. They spoke on the issue of child abuse and neglect in Bryan County. Child abuse and neglect is a problem that knows that socio-economic, geographic, or racial boundaries. It can be found in all segments of our community, and is something that everyone should be aware of.
