The Exchange Club of Dublin was the scene for the presentation of Lourens County’s top academic students with the Presentation of the STAR Student Award. These 12th grade students achieved the highest scores on taking the SAT test and had the highest grade point averages at the time of the selection and they picked the teacher who had meant the most to their education. Honored were: Dublin High School: Student – Will Haywood – System Winner, Teacher – Robbie Foskey; East Laurens High School: Student – Hannah Theriault, Teacher – Lara Lawrence; Trinity Christian School: Student – Jacob McLeod, Teacher – Faye Price; Student – Sydney Stephens, Teacher – Faye Price: West Laurens High School: Student – Shane Carter – System Winner, Teacher – Diane Wilcher.
