The Exchange Club of Columbus was introduced to Danielle Varner and Natalia Temesgen. Danielle is the Springer Theater Director of Development and gave an update. Natalia is a local author/playwright who has written a play about the life of Ace Eugene Bullard, a WWI fighter pilot who was originally from the Columbus area. She shared the amazing story of Eugene Bullard’s life of adventure which started when he ran away from home at the age of 10. She told of how he ended up travelling to Europe and his adventures there in the French Army. It is an absolutely incredible story which she has written into play format. The play will be performed at the Springer the end of March and beginning of April.
