The Exchange Club of Blackshear has partnered with a local business, AgSouth Mortgages, to make sure all schools in the county and the Board of Education had new flags to start the school year off right. The program is part of the Exchange Club’s Americanism program and the presentation was made at the club’s weekly meeting.
“I have been honored to provide these Flags to the Schools for the second year in a row”, stated, AgSouth Mortgages loan originator, Chris Shimkus. The Pierce County Superintendent and Principles of each school were there to accept the flags.
