Ali Lopez has been announced as the February Youth of the Month of the Exchange Club of Waycross. She is ranked in the top 5% of her graduating class. Ali’s acivities/Honors at Ware County High School include: National Honor Society 11th & 12th Grade, Academic Honor Roll 9th – 12th Grade, Key Club 11th Grade, FFA 11th & 12th Grade, Varsity Soccer 9th Grade, Governor’s Honors Program Nominee 11th Grade, Ali has been involved in a number of community activities including: Volunteered at Autism Awareness Day, WayGreen Market Volunteer. Assisted with special projects through NHS for Magnolia House & Hospice. After graduation from Ware County High School Ali plans to attend South Georgia State College and major in Business/Marketing.
Denise Delgadillo is the March Youth of the Month. She is ranked in the top 5% of her graduating class. Denise’s Activities/Honors at Ware County High School include: National Honor Society 11th & 12th Grade, BETA Club 11th & 12th Grade, Academic Honor Roll 9th – 12th Grade, Key Club 10th – 12th Grade, FBLA 9th – 12th Grade, Student Council 9th – 12th Grade, Model UN 11th – 12th Grade, Marching Band 9th – 12th Grade, UGA Merit Scholar 11th Grade, Okefenokee Lion’s Club Academic Honor Society 11th Grade, Waycross Bank & Trust Jr. Board of Directors 12th Grade. Denise has been involved in a number of community activities including: Have read to students at Daffodil preschool. Service project through BETA that visits residents in the nursing homes. Collected money for March of Dimes at Megan’s House, Helped Salvation Army during Christmas time, Volunteered at the Sound of Gold Marching Band Competition, Assisted with church clean up days, After graduation from Ware County High School Denise plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in accounting and finance.
