The Exchange Club of Savannah has recognized Savannah High School Coach Tim Jordan as Teacher of the Year. In making the presentation, they noted that Coach Jordan has coached boy’s basketball for the past 22 seasons and instilled in his players team spirit, sportsmanship, and hard work in approaching everything that comes before them. He was honored as both a mentor and a father figure for many of his players and actually saved the life of a young lady who collapsed while playing tennis and Coach Jordan applied CPR and stabilized her until the paramedics could arrive. “I think I was put there for a reason and I thank the good Lord for helping me pull her through,” commented Coach Jordan.
