The Exchange Club of Savannah has announced their Student and Teacher Of The Month. Antonio (Frankie) Taharka has a dual enrollment at Savannah Early College High School and Savannah State University where he maintains an straight “A” average and is on track to earn 40 college credit hours. Cherie Dennis, a third grade teacher at Hesse K-8 was announced as Teacher Of The Month. Ms. Dennis, in her 8th year of teaching, is the lead team member of her grade and spent her own time during the summer months obtaining data for over 1000 students for her team to analyze in the preparation of teaching goals and objectives to help students.
