The Exchange Club of Blackshear’s Student of the month for January was Marianna Clark.
She has a 3.8 GPA, is in Beta, One Act and Chorus. She is taking college classes and will attend Valdosta State University in the fall and will study Biology. Marianna chose Shelia House as her favorite teacher. She stated, “Ms. House is more than a teacher, she is a friend. She actively believes in me and encourages me to do well in school and outside of school.”
Ms. House said Marianna lights up a room with her dimples and nice smile. She stated, “Marianna’s work is unbelievable and I am honored to be her teacher and friend.”
